Named by critics and connoisseurs as some of the world’s finest Champagnes, the family-owned Henriot vineyards in Reims, France have produced legendary wines since 1808. Salt restaurant Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin presents a four-course menu paired with Henriot’s most extraordinary vintages, including the world-renowned 2008 Brut Millésimé and the 2005 Cuvée Hemera. This spectacular dinner is available by advance reservation only. Price: $225 per guest plus gratuity.

Salt Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island Hosts the 2019 Amelia Island Restaurant Week Kickoff Dinner.

AAA Five Diamond restaurant Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will host the kick off dinner celebrating Amelia Islands Restaurant week 11th Anniversary on January 16, 2019 with a 4 course Salt & Savor dinner with paired wines. Executive Chef Garrett Gooch, Coast Chef de Cuisine Niko Anagnostou and Executive Pastry Chef Shelton Millett join Salt’s Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin for an evening of exquisite food and wine. $150 per person plus gratuity. Salt Cooking Schools

Ignite your passion for cooking while attending a Cooking School led by Salt Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin. Chef Rick unlocks the secrets of Atlantic-influenced Contemporary American cuisine through total immersion in the culinary process.

Classes begin with breakfast in the Salt dining room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After a tour of the Salt kitchen, students disperse to work stations to create a four-course lunch menu reflecting the class theme. Later that day, students share a lunch paired with a selection of fine wines and discuss their experiences with fellow students and chefs. At the end of the program, students receive a Salt apron, recipe book and certificate.
