MOMMY & ME TEA Saturday, May 12 | 11:30 a.m.

Join us for a new Mother’s Day tradition: Mommy & Me Tea. This vibrant and happy celebration inspired by the colorful prints of Lilly Pulitzer is flavorful petite sandwiches, sweets, memorable moments and other delights. Children are encouraged to dress in their favorite springtime colors to create new memories with mothers and grandmothers. Our Photography Concierge will be on hand to capture this generational moment with a complimentary keepsake image. This event is open to hotel guests and local residents.

MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH Sunday, May 13 | 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Join us for an extravagant Mother’s Day Brunch in the AAA Five-Diamond Salt Restaurant on Sunday, May 13th. The brunch includes a Champagne toast, fresh seafood station with chilled Mayport shrimp, action stations with fresh salads, omelets and classic eggs Benedict, fresh pasta, sushi, local fish, wood grilled beef tenderloin and an array of house-made pastries. This event is open to hotel guests and local residents.

Salt Restaurant Cooking Schools

Ignite your passion for cooking while attending a 2018 Cooking School led by Salt Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin. Chef Rick unlocks the secrets of Atlantic-influenced contemporary American cuisine through total immersion in the culinary process.

Classes begin with breakfast in the Salt dining room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After a tour of the Salt kitchen, students disperse to work stations to create a four-course lunch menu reflecting the class theme. Later that day, students share a lunch paired with a selection of fine wines and discuss their experiences with fellow students and chefs. At the end of the program, students receive a Salt apron, recipe book and certificate.

Dates for the 2018 Salt Cooking Schools are as follows:

  • May 21: Spanish Cuisine
  • August 6: Asian Street Food
  • September 24: Feast of the Seven Fishes (Italian)
