How can I make a reservation?

Reserve your next spa treatment at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas through our online booking engine or by calling (214) 922-4820 and prepare for a rejuvenating spa experience.

When should I arrive?

For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas and steam rooms.

Should I shave before a treatment?

Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.

Should I wax, shave, laser or use the sauna or steam room before a body scrub or peel?

To achieve the utmost satisfaction and comfort from your service, we ask that you wait at least 8 hours before and after the body scrub or peel to wash, shave or use the sauna or steam room. Wait at least 24 hours before and after a laser treatment. In addition, we recommend that you limit your sun exposure before and after any facial or body peel treatment.

What should I wear during my treatment?

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Robes and slippers are provided. Lockers are available for your personal items.

What about my jewelry and valuables?

If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa facility.

Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?

Our spa reservation department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order in which to enjoy your treatments. 

Is there a minimum age for treatments?

Guests must be 18 years of age or older to experience a massage, or body treatment or enjoy the spa relaxation areas, locker areas, and pool. Teen facials are available to anyone 16 or 17 years of age with a parent or guardian present in the treatment room, and locker/relaxation areas will not be permitted. Salon treatments are available for children 5 years of age and older. This includes hair and nail services only. Parents must be present for the service.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the spa more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. A Ritz-Carlton, Dallas hotel room number or credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.

What if I am late for my appointment?

Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, as your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied, regardless of late arrivals.

What about payment for spa services?

All major credit cards and traveler’s checks with proper identification are accepted. Spa services can also be charged to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is accepted prior to treatments at the time of check-in. Please present discounts, gift vouchers and gift certificates at the time services are rendered. Discounts do not apply to spa packages, promotions, special events or holidays.

What about gratuities?

For your convenience, 23 % service charge (18% directly to provider(s), 5% to service staff) will be added to your service. If you choose, you may opt to leave additional gratuity for your therapist.

What if I have special health considerations?

Please notify our spa reservation department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

What if I am pregnant?

While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed such as our Prenatal massage which is available past the first-trimester. Please notify our spa reservation agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
