New Ethnographic Museum MEG
The MEG - the ethnographic museum of Geneva - is a museum centred around humanity. It is a place for sharing and learning about other cultures from around the world. The permanent exhibition displays nearly 1,200 objects, treasures carefully selected from the 80,000 which are found in the MEG’s collections. The temporary exhibition highlights the hidden gems of the MEG using magnificent immersive staging techniques.

Art and History Museum

Inaugurated in 1910, the Museum of Art and History is one of the three largest museums in Switzerland. In particular, it brings together archaeological, applied art and fine arts collections. Patek Philippe Museum

The Patek Philippe Museum is located in the heart of the Plainpalais district. Founded in 2001, it showcases the most prestigious creations of the brand’s master watchmakers. Visitors can also admire an extraordinary collection of watches, musical automata and enamel miniatures, as well as a library entirely dedicated to horology.

Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie

The Foundation has the pleasure to invite you to its introductory watchmaking workshops. Lasting three hours, they allow you to become acquainted with the basics of watchmaking by dismantling and assembling a simple watch mechanism. International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum

The  Palais des Nations, UN European Headquarters

Built between 1929 and 1936 and located at the heart of the Parc de l'Ariana, the Palais des Nations, symbol of Geneva, capital of peace, houses the European headquarters of the United Nations, and is the largest UN centre after New York. More than 25,000 delegates pass through the centre each year, and many works of art are on display there. Furthermore, the Palais opens its doors daily and provides fascinating guided tours!

The Water Fountain
Since 1891 it has graced the centre of Geneva's harbour, and is the must-see tourist attraction! Used initially for distributing the Rhône's propelling force to the city's craftspeople, the magnificent water jet is 140 meters high, with 500 liters of water passing through it per second at a speed of 200 km per hour!

Although not known for its wine, Geneva’s winegrowing region is easily the most picturesque in the world and the largest in Switzerland producing 13.5 million liters annually. Most vineyards offer tasting, though some by appointment only.
