Experience the Culinary Artistry of Salt:

February 14-15 – Salt Valentine’s Day Dinner

The most romantic dinner setting in Florida enlivens your senses with a Valentine-themed Adventure Menu. Inspired by love and culinary passion, the menu features four courses and is available with wine pairings. Salt’s seasonal dinner menu will also be offered. $155 per guest. Available February 13-15, in addition to the seasonal a carte menu.

Salt Cooking Schools

Ignite your passion for cooking while attending a Cooking School led by Salt Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin. Chef Rick unlocks the secrets of Atlantic-influenced Contemporary American cuisine through total immersion in the culinary process.

Classes begin with breakfast in the Salt dining room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After a tour of the Salt kitchen, students disperse to work stations to create a four-course lunch menu reflecting the class theme. Later that day, students share a lunch paired with a selection of fine wines and discuss their experiences with fellow students and chefs. At the end of the program, students receive a Salt apron, recipe book and certificate.

Inspired by a recent trip to Norway, Chef Rick Laughlin shares Nordic methods of fish cookery. From Wild Salmon with cucumber and fennel to flame-roasted vegetables, you’ll learn modern and classic techniques Norwegians use to produce delicious food meant for sharing.

A Tour Through the Market: Street Foods of Southeast Asia

Take a culinary tour through the exciting flavors of Southeast Asian street foods. Uncover hidden culinary gems like Banana-Que and Pork Adobo from the Philippines, or spicy and tangy papaya salads and rice dishes of Myanmar to the famed noodle soups of Thailand. Chef may even share a family recipe or two in this popular class.

Traditions of Indian Cuisine

Various cultures have passed through India, leaving their mark on Indian cuisine and the results are both delicious and legendary. In this class, you’ll explore the soul-warming curries, naans and parathas of Northern India to the distinct and diverse vegetable and fish-based dishes of Southern India. You’ll also learn essential techniques that make the flavors of Indian food so unique.

Chef Rick Laughlin reveals some of his own secrets to preparing an impressive selection of bite-sized creations for any gathering. Whether for holiday guests or family entertaining, from skewers to dips and desserts. The Salt culinary team walks you step-by-step to creating and presenting hors d’oeuvres guaranteed to dazzle your guests.

Dive in to the spirit of a Red, White and Deep Blue weekend with the kind of summer school you’ll be happy to attend: Barbecue University with Ritz-Carlton chefs.
