Fitness Center The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island Fitness Center is open 24/7 with room key access. Use of the fitness center is reserved for hotel guests 18 and over, or those 12 to 17 years of age accompanied by a supervising adult. For your safety and the safety of others, proper footwear, closed toed shoes and fitness attire is required.
Full range of cardio equipment includes treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent and stationary bikes, all equipped with a private entertainment system.
Free weights and dual adjustable cable weight system
Stability balls, yoga mats, resistance bands, steps and jump ropes

Group Fitness Classes A variety of group fitness classes are offered throughout every day at various times beginning at 8 a.m. Classes are geared to all levels of fitness, and may be held outdoors (weather permitting) Sunday through Thursday: Private and Group fitness classes are available by 24-hour advance registration only and additional fees may apply. All classes are $25, room charge.
Abs - An effective workout to tone your tummy and strengthen your abs.
Aquabata - This is not your grandmother’s water aerobics, this is boot camp in the water- a high intensity workout like no other.
Aqua Fit - Working in chest deep water through powerful propulsion combined with high intensity intervals, and finishing with Zen relaxation and stretching without ever getting your hair wet.
Band Class - A full body workout using exercise bands.
Beach Booty - A hardcore buns workout to lift the glutes and firm the thighs.
Body Sculpt - Strength training designed to reshape the upper and lower body using dumbbells, ball, bands and body bar.
Boot Camp - Kettlebell and cardio routines combine for a signature Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island beach workout experience.
‘Cize - A dance workout for any age or any dance level. Be prepared to sweat and have fun!
Core Reform - The road to a six pack. A workout to get your abs burning while strengthening your core.
Foam Roll - An exercise recovery session that improves joint range of motion; Reduces muscle tightness and soreness. Great for pre- or post-work out.
Glutes - For a nice lift and tone to your gluteus medius.
High Intensity Cardio - Exactly as it sounds: An intense, inspiring cardio class that gets your blood pumping and wakes you up.
Interval Training - High-intensity anaerobic exercise interspersed with periods of lower-intensity.
Just Planks - Plank variations to get flatter abs and a stronger core. Incorporating different planks. you can also target your upper back, chest, sides, core, and glutes.
Kettlebell – A signature Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island fitness class, kettlebell exercises increase strength, stamina, and coordination by challenging the muscular, cardiovascular and central nervous systems simultaneously.
Mat Science - A flowing combination of yoga, Pilates and focused breathing techniques suitable for all fitness levels.
Mind & Body Yoga - A slower-paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a gentler yoga practice. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses.
Nordic Wellness Walking – Step outside on a walk with handheld Nordic walking poles; this exercise burns 40% more calories than regular walking with less stress on the joints.
PiYO - Stretching, muscle building, cardio and increased flexibility using yoga and Pilates-based moves all in one workout.
Primal Movements - Learn classic, highly-effective fitness movements: bend to extend, squat, lunge, rotate, push/pull and gait.
Stick Pilates - The Pilates stick is a piece of resistance equipment for the indoor workout. It simulates many Pilates tower exercises and adds interesting resistance potential to Pilates mat and other exercises
YoChi - Combines the structure of Yoga with the slow fluidity of Tai Chai for a complete mind+body flow. (30 min)
Yoga- An infusion of several styles of Yoga to help relax you physically, mentally & emotionally by mixing salutations, balance, standing and strength poses.
Achieve your personal fitness goals with a customized one-on-one workout led by a certified personal trainer. Each session will be designed to effectively target your desired results, using a combination of cardio, core strength and flexibility training.
