This golf resort in Sintra presents two circuits: Atlantic Championship and Monastery, providing completely different experiences throughout the amazing hills of Sintra. The Penha Longa Golf Club, founded in 1992, hosts more than 100 golf members, extending the five-star service of Penha Longa Resort to members and visitors, offering tailored activities such as competitions with other golf clubs and social events.

The Atlantic Championship

The 18-hole Atlantic course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., opened in 1992 and staged the Portuguese Open two years later. Every hole is different and exciting, with Jones using the contours to great effect. The course has a superb flow and the views throughout are magnificent, especially away to the coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril and to the blue Atlantic ocean.

The Monastery Course

Opened in 1995 and also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Monastery Course perfectly complements its sister course. This 9-hole layout is less undulated than the Atlantic Championship, offering moderate challenges for all skill levels, with fast greens, narrow fairways, and stunning views of the surrounding National Park.

Unlimited Golf Package

From €305 per night for single occupancy and €360 per night for double occupancy. With luxurious accommodation, a daily breakfast buffet at our restaurant, and unlimited green fees per day, per person. Equipment (tees and golf balls) and rentals (including driving range balls, clubs, buggies and trolleys) are not included in this package and are available at an additional cost.
