Iconic Naples Beach Resort to undergo restoration and rejuvenation projects
Naples, FL (April 2018) –The Ritz-Carlton, Naples will close temporarily starting June 25, 2018, reopening on September 3, 2018. During this time, the resort will undergo an extensive restoration of the façade. Additionally, the highly celebrated beach front restaurant, Gumbo Limbo, will captivate guests following a full revitalization while all boardwalks leading to the restaurant as well as the beach will be updated and restored. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will be enhanced in several areas, unveiling a contemporary coastally inspired design. Renovation of the 10,000 sq. ft. Vanderbilt Ballroom will also take place completing the final phase of reimagined meeting space at the resort. Finally, a number of operational projects throughout the property will take place during the resort closure to further enhance and facilitate service excellence and efficiency.
While the majority of these significant projects will be completed when the resort reopens on September 3, the renovation of Gumbo Limbo and the façade restoration will continue in the final phase through the beginning of November. In order to complete the extensive façade project, scaffolding will be assembled around the building starting June 15 and removed following the completion of the project in early November. While scaffolding around the building is in place, some guest room views and balcony access may be restricted or unavailable.
