An annual holiday tradition, children are invited to gather for Teddy Bear Tea in the winter wonderland of The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom featuring a lively holiday show, teddy bear gift, and keepsake photo. Children may bring an unwrapped new toy to place under the holiday tree to be donated to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Proceeds will benefit Children’s Miracle Network and Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us at our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, hosted by Betty Yu (KTVU-TV Fox 2) and Liam Mayclem (KCBS Radio) and a Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area child. The complimentary-to-the-public event will feature live entertainment with Dickens-era carolers and trumpeters, the legendary tree lighting at the hotel’s front drive, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus. December 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Thanksgiving Day Dinner in The Lounge

Letters to Santa

From December 4-25, children are invited to write and mail a letter to Santa in the Lobby. In addition, they enjoy complimentary candy canes on Fridays and Saturdays in December.
