From a romantic garden, a venue by the sun - drenched pool, a promenade and a luxurious ballroom are some of the wedding venues of our wonderful complex. El Mirador Garden

The El Mirador Garden has the most amazing panoramic sea view and it’s one of the most interesting locations for events. The venue is ideal for gala dinners, wedding ceremonies and more. With a large, thatched roof and wooden beams inspired by the architecture of Bali, El Mirador (the viewpoint) certainly lives up to its name. It enjoys perhaps the most enviable location right on the cliff’s edge.

Feel embraced by nature in this exuberant outdoor space. With exotic plants, magnificent trees and colorful flowers, the Persian Garden offers the perfect environment for the wedding ceremony of your dreams. For receptions, the Persian Garden is also the idyllic place to host outdoor cocktails and petite gatherings.

Lagoon Pool

Surrounded by lush vegetation, natural elements and stunning sea views, each of the nine pools is part of the natural landscape while retaining its distinctive character. The Lagoon pool of the citadel is a lake of clear water and undulating forms covering almost the entire length of the hotel. This outdoor venue in Spain is also used for hotel events.

The uniqueness of The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is that its outdoor venues are perfect to celebrate your ceremony. For ceremonies of up to 100 guests, we offer our Persian Garden, overlooking the resort, and for weddings of over 100 guests, we may suggest El Mirador Garden with its breathtaking views to the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera island.

 

How do I arrange my wedding at The Ritz - Carlton, Abama?

Our Wedding Specialist will organize and coordinate all aspects of your dream day. Your Wedding Specialist will:

  • Create a timeline for your entire wedding day
  • Coordinate the ceremony & the reception closely with the Wedding Planner of your choice
  • Recommend special event professionals to provide music, photography, invitations and final arrangements
  • Act as menu consultants for all food and beverage selections
  • Arrange and attend your menu tasting

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
