Enjoy an afternoon hike with our resident hotel dog, Belle, a playful Bernese Mountain Dog, as we explore the mountain and sniff out new trails!

Celebrate the beauty that surrounds us by crafting a masterpiece souvenir inspired by the great outdoors. Experiment with watercolors, photo-sensitive paper and more on the Mountainside Terrace. 

Animal Evidence Scavenger Hunt Hike 
Search for clues that the sometimes elusive forest animals have left behind on this easy, family friendly hike.

Bachelor Gulch Sommelier, Jason Hunter, is back at it withChef Jared Montarbo as they create unforgettable wine andfood pairings. Guests will also experience the wine makingprocess firsthand, from perfecting the right grape to the fun ofgrape smashing!Resort Sommelier, Jason Hunter, just returned from a visit to the Rhone Valley and will share his experience by showing photos and video from the trip, which has helped him finish writing Wine Hunter: Chateauneuf du Pape. In celebration of this region and the producers he visited, Jason will walk you through the world of Rhone; you’ll make a blend similar to those of Chateauneuf du Pape using the primary varietals of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre to create your own “Rhone” blend. Must be 21 years or older.

Bachelor Gulch Sommelier, Jason Hunter, is back at it with Chef Jared Montarbo as they create unforgettable wine and food pairings. Guests will also experience the wine making process ¬firsthand, from perfecting the right grape to the fun of grape smashing! Sip some of the finest Bordeaux blends of Pierre Seillen from Italy, Bordeaux and California. Our sommelier will demonstrate proper decanting -- whether old or young wines, learn why and why not to decant and the reasoning behind it. With the dessert course, you can learn how to open a bottle of Champagne without making a sound and the process of Sabering.

Guests will also experience the wine making process firsthand, from perfecting the right grape to the fun of grape smashing!Indulge in wines from Belle Pente or JK Carriere in Oregon as the winemakers are brought directly to you via a full-sized television feed, all while in the midst of harvest season. Experience first-hand video feed of grapes ready for harvest, as well as the sorting and maceration process. You’ll also learn the process of stamping grapes, and cover the different steps of wine making in-person with our sommelier. Must be 21 years or older.
