Berliner Residenz Konzerte

The overall artistic concept of the Berlin Residence Concerts is deduced from this tradition, inviting for a unique artistic and cultural experience since 2006. In the Great Orangery, the ensemble of the Berlin Residence Orchestra dressed in true to original attire will take our guests back in time to the courtly world of the Prussian Kings. The program includes highlights of the music of the 17th and 18th Century, spanning from the great musical genius Johann Sebastian Bach to George Friedrich Händel, as well as to the compositionally gifted King Frederick II and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. By classy candle light you can enjoy masterpieces of baroque and classical music as well as the unique atmosphere of the Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace.

Botanic Night

The Botanic Garden and the Botanic Museum in Berlin-Dahlem open their doors for this special summer night event.

Discoverers and lovers of nature are invited to enjoy a spectacular night with beautiful illuminations, concerts, and - of course - lots of plants. The Botanic Garden is one of the most significant gardens worldwide; it unrolls on 43 hectars, including 16 kilometers of ways through the garden and its greenhouses.

Interested visitors may take part in guided tours, for example to the underground of the huge garden, or in one of the lectures. After having satisfied your cuiosity, you can relax with some chilling Jazz or classic or world music, until the fireworks begin.

Founded in 1868, the racecourse Hoppegarten, which is situated east of Berlin, belonged to the most important German railways until the World War I. Meanwhile, parts of the ensemble are under monumental protection.

Open-air classic concert against the backdrop of the romantically illuminated Italian renaissance garden "Giardino della Bobolina", with fire works show

This year, the concert highlight presents opera works by Giuseppe Verdi, performed by the concert choir of the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin with its conductor Frank Flade, the Leipziger Kammerphilharmonie and the Rostocker Singakademie, plus soloists Adriane Queiroz (soprano) and Jose Ortega (tenor).

Potsdamer Schlössernacht - 15th Potsdam Palace Night

Concerts, dance, drama, readings and romantic illuminations – a unique experience in Sanssouci park, once home to the Prussian kings.

Probably like no other palace is Sanssouci representing the Prussian age of Baroque. For one night, Sanssouci and his beautiful park transform into a baroque dream.

Besides the broad music programm, there will be 400 actors giving re-birth to the world of the 18th century. Visitors may be astonished about a falconry, the magnificent clothes, horses and - of course - the Italian greyhounds, which Fredrick II. loved so much.
