VolunTeaming is now offered under The Ritz-Carlton social responsibility program, Community Footprints. Transcending traditional group activities, VolunTeaming combines teambuilding with volunteer activities that create lasting memories for the participants.  Recognizing that many groups want their teambuilding time to make a meaningful contribution, these programs enable guests to be a force for good and feel personally connected to the place that they visit.

Veggie-U: Farm to Table Development Activity


The group travels together to The Chef’s Garden in Milan, Ohio where their day of development begins with a tour from founder and Chef’s Garden president, Farmer Lee Jones. He will explain how the mission of the organization has been revitalized to place more of a focus to creativity, personal service and giving back to the community. Veggie-U is introduced as a nonprofit branch of the company committed to spreading nutritional empowerment. Following that, the group goes into the fields with the Chef’s Garden team and harvests crops for donation to a local food bank. The day continues with an interactive lunch, during which participants will assist The Chef’s Garden culinary experts in preparing a gourmet lunch using the wholesome, sustainable agriculture on the premise.
