Jakarta – The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta recently appoints Mariano Liuzza as Chef De Cuisine to head the culinary team of Lobo.
Chef Mariano joined The Ritz-Carlton Company in 2006 after completing several culinary positions with some international hotels and restaurants in Germany such as The Hyatt Regency Hotel – Mainz, Villa Stokkum - Hanau, Hanauer Stubb – Hanau and Steigenberger Airport Hotel just to mention a few.
An Italian national, Chef Mariano has gained many experiences in many countries including in Germany and Qatar. Prior to his new appointment in Jakarta, Chef Mariano holds similar position at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, Qatar from 2005 to 2008 leading the team of a 66-seat Porcini Italian Restaurant that has been awarded with The Best Hotel Award in Middle East in 2006.
With his new assignment as Lobo Chef, Mariano Liuzza will bring in a fusion twist of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, as well as a selection of signature Italian and steakhouse creations from mouth-watering east meet west appetizers to delectable mains including hearty Wagyu Beef and US Prime at The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta.
