Malaysia’s newest aquarium is located at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This next generation aquarium takes visitors on an exciting journey from misty mountains, through the mysterious rainforests, to the ever- changing coast, before reaching beyond the reefs and into the mysterious deep blue sea.

Kuala Lumpur’s most photographed building (designed by British Architect A.C. Norman) was built between 1894 and 1897 and was formerly the Secretariat building for the British Administration. It is a beautiful blend of Victorian and Moorish architecture and is now the venue of the Supreme Court and the High Court. Just next to the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is the former City Hall a similar Moorish-styled building.

The ceiling of the lift lobby is decorated in the Islamic art form using tiny mirrors. Istana Negara or National Palace is the official residence of His Majesty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia. It stands on a 28 acre (110,000 m²) area, located at a commanding position on the slope of a hill of Bukit Petaling overlooking the Klang River.

At the Royal Selangor’s School of Hard Knocks, visitors learn how pewter is produced, and are then given the opportunity to make and personalized a pewter dish of their own.

Situated in the Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), are currently the world's tallest freestanding towers. The 88-story twin towers soar 1482.93 feet above the city skyline and are connected by a sky-bridge on the 41st floor. The sky-bridge is open to public from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Officially opened in August 1963, the Museum Negara was built in the style of a Malay palace. Built in the 1880's, Taman Tasik Perdana (KL Lake Gardens) is the city's most popular and accessible park.
