The renowned French winemaker Hugel & Fils has been an important ﬁgure in the history of grape-growing and wine-making, alwaysmaintaining the golden rule of wine-making: “The quality of the wine depends on the quality of the grapes.” We have invited the 12th generation owner, Etienne Hugel, to host a dinner at Sushi Mizuki. Come and enjoy Hugel’s excellent wines, along with ﬁne Japanese cuisine served at Mizuki’s beautiful 11-meter-long Wajima-nuri lacquered counter.

Mizuki’s Recommended Sake for February ‒ “Yuki no Bijin”

We have a special treat for our guests who enjoy the endless variety of premium sake. Yuki no Bijin (Snow Beauty) sake is produced by Akita Zojo, the smallest sake brewery in northern Japan’s Akita Prefecture. They produce only 250 goku (45,000 liters) of sake per year in the tiny brewery, located in the city of Akita. Our Japanese restaurant, Mizuki, will sell Yuki no Bijin as February’s recommended sake, but only in limited quantities. Also, there will be a special dinner, for one night only, with Mr. Kobayashi, president and master brewer of Akita Jozo.
