7 a.m./60 minutes/daily. Start the day with a brisk walk along the beach. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean as you get a great cardiovascular workout.
Tai Chi
8 a.m./60 minutes/daily
Tai chi is a system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. To do tai chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each posture flows into the next without pausing.
Yoga
9 a.m./60 minutes/daily
Yoga teaches students how to breathe well,
stretch the body and relax, producing an overall heart-healthy workout.
The various poses are designed to gently stretch muscles and enhance
relaxation. Regular yoga workouts lower blood pressure, help relieve
arthritis and headache pain, lower stress and help with sleeping
problems.
Pilates
10 a.m./60 minutes/daily
Movements emphasize building strong
abdominals and back muscles to enhance strength, muscular symmetry,
alignment flexibility, grace and coordination. Use systematic practices
of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns.
