Since 1978, Friends of Ballona Wetlands has been dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the wetlands. Brimming with over 215 species of birds, a spawning ground for fish and a vital source of nutrients for the entire coastal marine environment, maintaining its health is imperative. As a hands-on activity, you will join a wetlands ecology educator on a tour of the salt marshes and dunes. Following a motivating lecture, you will head out to plant native species and remove invasive growth. All of the activities are appropriate for both children and adults, providing a memorable and worthwhile day.

After working up an appetite on the court satisfy those cravings with a Champagne Sunday Brunch in the acclaimed Jer-Ne restaurant. There will be no need to worry about a tennis elbow after experiencing the Up-to-Par Sports Therapy treatment, designed to ease injuries, specific pain and trigger points associated with tennis.

The Sunday Tennis Package starts at $590 and includes:

• 1 hour tennis lesson with The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey tennis pro
• Tennis racquets and balls included
• Sunday Champagne Brunch for two
• Up-to-Par Sports Therapy treatment for two (50 minute) 
• Valet Parking

The Institute for Works on Paper (IWP ) is known as a leader in world-class custom fine art exhibits. Each exhibit showcases a themed variety of work from IWP ’s extensive collection of art on paper – spanning 500 years of history. Join us for these unique exhibits offering an innovative approach to connoisseurship. Our collection is the cornerstone of every Temporary Exhibit Program; it captivates the senses and creates a truly memorable experience. The on-site Educational Art Advisors are there to assist you and all the art on exhibit is available for sale through silent auction.
