Follow our conservation staff into the wild to directly impact the evolution of this ecosystem and support Audubon of Florida. Guests will take a kayak or canoe onto Shingle Creek where they will assist in the removal of miscellaneous debris and non-native plants.

Grande Lakes Sprint Triathlon
Saturday April 4, 2015
Join Grande Lakes Orlando for the first annual Grande Lakes Sprint Triathlon! This mock triathlon is perfect practice for those training to participate in a full triathlon or those who’ve always wanted to experience a triathlon event.

There will be three waves of participants starting at 6 a.m. Each participant will begin with a 500 yard swim in the Spa pool then continue to a 15 mile bike ride on stationary spin bikes located on the Spa pool deck. Participants will finish with a 5K run on the jogging trail around the resort. Our beginners wave starts at 8 a.m. This wave

will include a 10 minute swim, 20 minute bike ride and a 5K jog around the resort. This is a non-competitive event where only completion time will be provided. Light refreshments will be offered at the finish line!

Participants will receive a gift bag that includes a $25 savings on a spa treatment, shirt, pocket protein, a protein bar and complimentary 3 minutes on the Sunrise Massage. A $5 donation will be made to the Children’s Miracle Network for each registration.

As a thank you for each guest registered, we will offer a 50% savings on personal training through April 4 in order to train for this event.

Waves are at 6 & 7 a.m. plus a beginners wave at 8 a.m. Participants must register at (407) 393-4030.
