Orlando is more than theme parks; it is also home to Grande Lakes Orlando, where a series of private ponds feed the Headwaters to the Everglades. Follow our conservation staff into the wild to directly impact the evolution of this ecosystem by creating habitats for all wildlife and support Audubon of Florida. You will take a nature walk to the fish feeding, bird and nature watching stations, butterfly garden and the organic garden. Your volunteer activity is seasonal, ranging from artificial freshwater reef construction, shoreline structure and aquatic plant enhancement, to building wood duck nesting boxes.
