Friday, June 16, 2017 6 to 9 p.m. $95 USD per person inclusive of tax and gratuity

With warm ocean breezes and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, Executive Chef Brian Sundeen invites guests to join him for an evening of cocktails and cuisine prepared in an outdoor kitchen where he and his chefs will engage and interact with guests as they prepare the specialties of the evening. Summertime is all about barbecue and Chef Sundeen and his team will offer a delectable menu of classic American cookout dishes prepared on a yakitori grill, mesquite charcoal grill and smoker. Refreshing Ketel One and Nolet Gin cocktails, handcrafted by the evening’s mixologist, will complete the dining experience as guests are all seated together for a family-style barbecue.

Yappy Howl-O-Ween

Yappy Howl-O-Ween is the chance for pups to strut their stuff in their favorite costume. A panel of judges will determine which canine will take home the prize in the costume contest. First place prize in each category is a hand-painted dog bowl by Debby Carman of FauxPaw Productions. Donation to enter the costume contest is $10 per canine per category. Proceeds support The Canine Companions Veterans Initiative.

Yappy Howl-iday Celebration

Santa Claus will make a special appearance for the Yappy Howl-iday Celebration. This festive gathering of canines and their companions provides Fido with the opportunity to be photographed with the “Big Dog” himself – Santa Claus. In keeping with the resort’s Season of Giving, guests are asked to bring unopened canned or dry dog food, treats or dog toys to be donated to an animal rescue organization. Proceeds support The Canine Companions Veterans Initiative.
