Li Yen at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the arrival of the Hairy Crab season by taking Yangcheng Lake’s seasonal bounty to new heights with a tantalising menu. Most commonly found in Yangcheng lake in China, these delicate crustaceans are well-known for its golden and decadent roe.

This year, our Shanghainese Guest Chef debuts the hairy crab at Li Yen with a selection of delicacies highlighting the sweet crab meat and rich roe, such as Steamed Shanghainese Meat Dumplings with Hairy Crab Roe, Steamed Whole Hairy Crab, Braised Shanghainese Noodles with Hairy Crab Roe and Braised Bean Curd Casserole with Hairy Crab Roe.
