International Model and beloved Fashion Santa creator Paul Mason to host a fashionable night in support of SickKids Hospital at downtown luxury hotel.

TORONTO, ON – November 29, 2018 – Santa Claus is coming to town, and this Santa wears a three-piece tailored suit. The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto is thrilled to welcome Paul Mason, a.k.a “Fashion Santa” as host of a holiday event combining fashion and philanthropy.

Hotel guests and the public are invited to get into the holiday spirit and join in on the charitable giving on Thursday, December 6th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto lobby. Have the chance to ‘Take a Selfie with Fashion Santa in support of SickKids’, by making a suggested donation of $10 to the organization.

The Toronto event is part of a larger initiative, The Ritz-Carlton Fashion Santa Tour, with events held at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston on December 5, The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown on December 8, and a final stop in the sunshine of The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour. In each city, a local charity partner will receive donations as part of The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints.

“I have to say I’m thrilled about The Ritz-Carlton Fashion Santa Tour. It is a dream I had when creating the Fashion Santa character. It’s especially meaningful to me to play this out in my home city of Toronto!” said the global viral sensation, Mason.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country. SickKids is an organization close to Fashion Santa’s heart, as well as the Ladies & Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto.

“We rely on the community and are grateful to The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto for their support,” said Adam Starkman, Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, SickKids Foundation. “The funds raised during their holiday campaign will go towards our SickKids VS Limits fundraising campaign to build a renewed, re-imagined SickKids with cutting-edge operating suites, more room for families and more room for the innovative technologies that will deliver better outcomes for children in Canada and around the world.”

The giving campaign continues throughout the month of December at the five star hotel, as an imaginative lobby display comes to life. By making a donation, guests will have a gingerbread brick added to the lobby fireplace and chimney display, dedicated in their name.
