The Ritz-Carlton Club® Level redefines the luxury hotel experience, combining intimacy, comfort and exclusivity with the personalized service and attention to detail that are the hallmarks of The Ritz-Carlton. This oasis is often referred to as a hotel within a hotel in a well-appointed, relaxed lounge environment overlooking Lake Ontario and the CN Tower. The Club Lounge offers continuous complimentary culinary offerings throughout the day (breakfast, light snacks, hors d'oeuvres, alcoholic beverages and sweets.)

Our Ritz Kids guests can enjoy board games such as Monopoly, Scrabble, Sorry, Chutes and Ladders, Chess, Connect 4 and Uno, as well as enjoy a collection of puzzles and packs of playing cards. The television area is our designated Ritz Kids zone where children can watch TV and movies in a more comfortable and private setting.

A Budding Pastry Chef!

Priscilla found out that a Club Lounge VIP, Stephanie Dzialo, and her family, were returning to stay at the hotel after two years. Before they arrived, Priscilla put a picture of Stephanie and Chef Kyung in a frame and placed it in the guests’ room. The photo was from their last stay (two years before), when Stephanie had asked Chef Kyung to try using her own recipe for Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Without hesitation, Chef Kyung baked the pie following her recipe and the family excitedly confirmed that “Kyung has passed the taste test.” She then took the baked pie back home with her!

On her recent visit, she wanted to have a tour of the kitchen and to go see her favorite Chef, Kyung. Arisa from Guest Relations made sure her wish came true and gave her a tour of the entire kitchen. Stephanie was able to see Kyung again and take another photo with him! She enjoyed the lovely tour and her passion for baking was inspired even more! She and her mom were very thankful to the whole staff and wrote the thank you letter shown in the photo below!

The Right Fit

A frantic guest approached the Concierge Desk in a panic as he realized he had only packed one of his dress shoes and he had a very important reception to attend that started in one hour.

Andrew McEvoy, the Front Office Manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Toronto overheard the guest's conversation with the Concierge and immediately stepped in to see if he could help in any way. He offered to possibly have the bellman run out to try to purchase a pair for the guest. This sounded like a great idea but the time was running out Andrew then remembered he had an extra pair of dress shoes in his office and asked the guest what size his feet were. It turned out that Andrew and the guest shared the same size of shoes and Andrew quickly went to retrieve his shoes for the guest. He had the guest try them on in the lobby and they were a perfect fit!

The guest made it to his reception with a nice pair of dress shoes and returned the shoes the next day with a handwritten note for Andrew. "Andrew, Special thanks.... For lending me these shoes in my moment of need. I recall my suitcase falling over while I was packing and one of my shoes fell out unnoticed. This saved me from some embarrassing moments tonight at our function! Many thanks to a great guy like you and what it says about you representing The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto."
