Discover The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba Spa which fosters wellness, tranquility, relaxation, and inner and outer beauty. The following guidelines are provided in answer to our guests’ most frequent questions.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment. This will allow time to relax in the lounges, steam rooms, whirlpools and relaxation room.

Arriving late will simply limit the time of your treatment thus lessoning its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment time will not be extended as we cannot delay the next guest and the full value of your treatment will be charged.

What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the Spa. We are not responsible for any personal items and/or valuables brought into the Spa or left in your locker.

Use of cell phones, electronic devices, cameras
To protect the privacy of our Guests and to preserve the Guest experience, use of cell phones, electronic devices and cameras are prohibited in the Spa. Cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off.

What if I have gender preferences?
If you prefer a male or female therapist, please make your gender request when scheduling your appointment.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least six hours in advance of your appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Any appointments rescheduled within the six-hour window will incur a move fee of $ 25. Cancellation of packages or private parties require one week’s notice. Groups are subject to a four-week cancellation policy.

What about gratuities?
For your convenience, a 22% service charge will be added to each spa service you receive. You may opt to leave additional gratuity at your discretion.

What about payment for spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks.

Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests must be 18 years and older to enjoy the Spa relaxation areas, locker areas and soaking tubs. Massages cannot be performed on anyone under the age of 18 years.

Salon services are available for children accompanied by a parent for the entire service.

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged.

Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Our spa reservation agents can help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments. Ask about a spa consultation.

What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our spa agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our spa reservation agent before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concerns, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

Complimentary parking for Spa Guests is available at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba. Please be sure to bring your parking ticket to the Spa to be validated upon check-out. 

Please be sure to check-out at the Front Desk of the Spa before you depart. Parking will be validated at that time.

Food and Beverage
Guests are prohibited from bringing any food or alcohol into the Spa unless provided by the Spa. No glass is permitted at the soaking tub or Locker areas.
