Preserving the Pack
Donkeys have roamed and worked Aruba’s pristine beaches and desert landscape for the last 500 years, but populations have dwindled in recent decades. Group guests can volunteer at Bringamosa’s Donkey Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and protecting these beloved Aruban animals. Feed and play with these intelligent and engaging animals that helped build the Aruban economy as the island’s main form of transportation in centuries past.
