CHARLOTTE, N.C. – March 12, 2019 – The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte adds a personal touch to brunch with the debut of the Mule and Mimosa Bar, an experience that will allow guests to create their own cocktail in K Lounge from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
“The idea for the Mule and Mimosa Bar was inspired by the concept of ‘inclusive cocktailing,’” said Amier Gauff, Food and Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte. “Guests will have the ability to be involved in the creation of their cocktail, preparing a personalized recipe with house-made ingredients.”
The spread will include homemade juices, homegrown herbs, local bitters and flavorings, as well as a selection of seasonal fruits. Guests will begin by choosing an herb, which is hand-picked by chefs from the hotel’s rooftop garden, then add a fruit, which includes pre-muddled options. Upon selecting a juice and bitters, the bartender will bring a portion of liquor and ginger beer (for a mule) or champagne (for a mimosa) to complete the personalized cocktail.
The Mule and Mimosa Bar takes the place of the Bloody Mary Bar, which was previously offered in the lobby of the hotel.
