How do I choose the food for my reception?
Whether your reception is an intimate dinner or a lavish gathering, we offer a range of cuisines. From hors d’oeuvres and champagne cocktails to gourmet buffets and formal dinners with synchronized, white glove service, all menus are catered to your specific needs. A menu consultation with the hotel’s culinary team, will ensure the creation of a menu that perfectly represents your taste.

The award-winning culinary team is delighted to offer a selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, Kosher style, ethnic and international specialties. A customized menu to reflect any dietary needs or preferences is possible.
Can The Ritz-Carlton provide my wedding cake?
Our pastry team will ensure your new life together is off to a sweet start. Choose from our imaginative wedding cakes and patisseries or customize your own creative temptations.
Please explain the food and beverage minimum.
The food and beverage minimum is the least amount of money that you are required to spend on a combination of food and beverage, excluding service charge and sales tax, but it is not all that you could spend. The food and beverage minimum is reached by selecting individually priced, a la carte menu items to equal or exceed the required dollar figure. Food and beverage minimums are based upon the dates selected, seasonality and capacity of the banquet rooms.
The following examples would apply towards the food and beverage minimum: hors d’oeuvres, food display and carving stations, plated or buffet meal, wedding cake, dessert display stations, wine service with the meal, champagne toast, the bar (including alcohol), cappuccino station and any non-alcoholic beverages.
Centerpieces, upgraded linens/china/silverware, décor, and specialty lighting would not apply towards the food and beverage minimum.
A hotel-approved wedding coordinator is required.
Does the hotel offer a discounted room block?
The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas is delighted to block rooms and quote rates for family and friends requiring overnight accommodations. Unclaimed rooms will be released 30 days prior to the event and contractual obligations may apply for larger groups.
Do the bride and groom receive a complimentary room for the wedding night?
The hotel provides a complimentary deluxe suite guest room with rose petal turndown for the bride and groom on the night of their wedding with a minimum of 150 guests in attendance at the reception. Additional complimentary offerings may be available through the hotel’s customized wedding packages.
Where does the bridal party get ready before the wedding?
The hotel has a variety of guest rooms and suites available, which may be reserved in advance of the wedding date.
How is guest parking handled at the hotel?
Parking services are valet only at the hotel. Because of local parking restrictions, self-parking is not available. Event parking is offered at $12 per vehicle; overnight parking is offered at $39 per vehicle.
May I take wedding pictures at The Ritz-Carlton if my wedding is to be held elsewhere?
The privacy of our guests is paramount at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas and therefore does not allow professional photography to take place within the public areas of the hotel – lobby, restaurant, pool, etc. The hotel reserves photography privileges within the event space for couples whose weddings or receptions are held at the hotel.
May I use outside Vendors?
We welcome outside vendors for music, flowers, and photography. A meeting will be scheduled with outside vendors to familiarize them with The Ritz-Carlton's vendor guidelines, and familiarize them with the space, accessibility and delivery.
Does the hotel offer floral services?
The hotels' preferred floral design company, Bella Flora of Dallas, can personalize your special day and create the ambiance you have dreamed of for your ceremony and/or reception at a 5% savings.
Does the hotel offer entertainment and photography services?
Our catering staff works with several musicians, entertainment providers and photographers that are available to you. We will help you find the perfect elements to make your day complete.
