Hydro-Vital Pool With Five Hydrotherapy Zones

Healing Waters

Set within a secluded, tropical greenhouse, the spa’s Hydro-Vital Pool has five different hydrotherapy stations, which offer relaxation and healing benefits and can be experienced as a circuit or individually. Named after the Greek word for water and Latin word for life, the Hydro-Vital Pool is fitted with a range of jets and water features that massage the entire body. Benefits include improving blood circulation, stimulating the lymphatic system and removing toxins. The benefits of hydrotherapy and its soothing effect on the mind and body have long been known, with luxurious Roman bathhouses providing the most famous example. A Hydro-Vital Pool session can be enjoyed before or after a signature massage or spa ritual, or experienced as a rejuvenating therapy on its own.

Hydro-Vital Pool Details

The Hydro-Vital Pool has five different zones each targeting a different area of the body and guests have the choice of 60 and 90 minute sessions. To enjoy the full benefits of hydrotherapy they can complete a full circuit with a trained therapist. Alternatively, they can choose to enjoy the experience alone and target specific areas of concern, whether feet, neck and shoulders, or general relaxation for the whole body.

Serenity Zone

An air bubble bench stimulates the muscles and relaxes the body in preparation for the hydrotherapy circuit.

Reflex Zone

Air jets focus water on the soles of the feet in a powerful massage that energizes and improves blood circulation. By stimulating reflexology points on the feet tension is released, which in turn helps the body heal and regenerate itself.

Rejuvenation Zone

Vertical massage jets focus on the entire body to alleviate muscle tension, improve blood circulation and promote lymphatic drainage in a deeply detoxifying experience.

De-Stress Zone

A Swan Neck Shower and Waterfall Shower focuses intense pressure on the upper back and shoulders to relieve pain caused by knotted muscles and tension in the neck and back. This zone is particularly beneficial for those who spend long hours sitting at a desk.

Relaxation Zone

Reclining on the massage lounger at the end of the circuit provides a gentle and relaxing hydrotherapy experience aimed at soothing and calming the body and the mind.

In addition, The Ritz-Carlton Spa houses separate Lounges for men and women which are equipped with a shower room, hot whirlpool, cold plunge pool, sauna and steam room.

Inspired by the beauty and tranquility of Nusa Dua, the luxury day spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali is a beachfront sanctuary. Bring out the vital glow of your skin and add iridescence with this enchanting, luxurious treatment. Begin with a gentle skin smoothing Shimmering Pearl Polish to impart a luster, followed by a pure pearl body wrap to further enhance the glow. A Shine Renewal Massage using Vitality oil with pearl extract releases tension and improves blood circulation to further restore your skin to its natural glory.

Tropical Marine Pleasure

Deeply nourish and hydrate tired skin with a refreshing Seaweed Body Scrub to gently exfoliate the skin, then relax with a detoxifying and nutrient-rich mineralizing Seaweed Body Wrap that replenishes your skin. Complete your treatment with a flowing Sea of Serenity massage using Inspiring oil that will restores a healthy glow and leaves you calm and tranquil.

Sea Coconut Secret

The Balinese revere the coconut for its many uses and water for its life-giving properties. Benefit from these local secrets with a treatment that starts with a unique water ritual in our exotic multi-station hydro-vital pool and continues in a treatment room with a foot wash using coconut coir to remove dead skin and full body exfoliation with fragrant toasted coconut combined with pure coconut oil.

Indian Ocean Ritual

Make the most of your proximity to the Indian Ocean and its natural bounty and take your treatment at one of our beach gazebos. Your therapist will use Relaxing oil for a Lomi-Lomi massage. This is followed by a gentle scrub using sand directly from the beach, before the time honored Balinese tradition of covering your body in the warm sands to gently ease muscle tension, bringing you a world of relaxation.

Pre-Treatment Preparation

Guests are invited to arrive prior to their scheduled appointment to enjoy the Wet Lounge’s whirlpool, cold plunge, sauna and steam room.

Post-Treatment Relaxation

Inspired by Balinese Hinduism cleansing rituals and set amid jungle-like foliage, the Bathing Pool encourages quiet contemplation and is surrounded by lounge chairs and canopied beds.

Cancellation

Where is the Spa located?

The Spa is located on the Lower Level (LL) which is adjacent to the Fitness Center.

How far in advance prior to my appointment should I arrive?

You are encouraged to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your appointment for a consultation at the spa, or thirty minutes early if you wish to use spa facilities (sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, cold plunge).

How do I schedule an appointment?

Where do I go once I arrive at the Spa?

Upon arrival at the Spa, please go directly to the Reception Counter. Our Spa Receptionist will re-confirm and briefly explain your scheduled treatments.

What kind of clothing I should wear for my treatment?

We ask that you disrobe completely for your body treatment(s). Our therapists are trained to appropriately drape you for privacy.

What facilities do you have in the Spa?

Guests can enjoy complete Spa facilities from Hydro-Vital Pool, Steam room, Sauna, Cold Plunge, Hot Whirlpool, and private locker room with a lounge area.

Do you have Female and Male therapists?

Our Spa provides talented and well-trained female therapists.Currently, the male therapist is not available.

Are pregnant women allowed to have treatments?

If you are pregnant, you may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and hydrotherapy treatments involving heat. Please inform our Spa Receptionist/Coordinator of your condition upon scheduling your treatment, enabling us to assist you in selecting the most appropriate treatments.

The resort’s holistic approach to wellness extends beyond relaxation and outer beauty to include yoga, a time-honored practice for mental and physical wellbeing. The Yoga Studio overlooks the spa’s tropical gardens and promotes balance from within. Classes are held at the Chapel Lawn or Yoga Studio and are complimentary except for Fly High Yoga and private sessions.
