Famed golfing legend, Jack Nicklaus returns this October to re-open the dramatically reinvented Great Waters golf course.  The signature golf course was originally designed in 1992 and his restoration includes a total turf replacement, new greens, bunkers, tees, water features, irrigation systems and cart paths. The Nicklaus layout has stood the test of time and the restoration will remain loyal to the original design.  Starting November 1st, book your reservation to experience the new Great Waters in 2020.

“The first time I went to Reynolds, I knew we had the potential to have a great golf course,” says Nicklaus.  “I think we found it then, and now more than a quarter of a century later, a wonderful golf experience remains but is in need of a little updating.  It’s one of the really great pieces of property with which I have ever had the experience to work.”

Great Waters, the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-signature design, winds through densely wooded evergreen corridors only to open up to nine holes featuring the blue waters of Lake Oconee as the rough. Named as one of the best courses in Georgia, second only to Augusta National, Great Waters proves to be one of the most aesthetically inspiring golf courses in the continental United States.
