From elevated dining experiences and transformed gathering spaces to innovative wellness offerings and immersive family programming, each enhancement has been carefully designed to honor what guests cherish most while creating new opportunities for connection, discovery and celebration.
Where Exceptional Flavors Meet Inspired Craft
From October 5 - December 18, 2026, Coast will undergo a thoughtful transformation, introducing refreshed dining spaces, an enhanced bar and lounge experience, and a sophisticated design inspired by Amelia Island's natural beauty.
Drawing inspiration from driftwood, sea oats, coastal textures, and the island's storied shrimping and maritime traditions, the reimagined Coast will offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere that remains true to its beloved identity and longstanding commitment to Southern coastal cuisine.
Guests will also discover a new semi-private dining area designed for intimate celebrations, family gatherings and special occasions. Upon reopening, Coast will once again serve as the setting for many of the resort's most cherished traditions, including the annual gingerbread house display, holiday teas, Christmas celebrations, seasonal dining experiences, and New Year's festivities.

From November 16, 2026 – January 2027, the resort's Legacy Function Space will enter its next chapter of transformation, encompassing the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, Plaza Ballroom, and adjacent meeting spaces, foyers, Ballroom Terrace, and Oceanfront Lawn. The redesign will introduce enhanced technology, refined finishes, curated artwork, modern amenities, and expanded outdoor event opportunities while preserving iconic elements such as the resort's treasured crystal chandeliers.
Main Pool, Refined
As enhancements take place at the main pool, guests will continue to always enjoy access to one of the resort’s two pools throughout the project. The saltwater Spa Pool will remain available during portions of this enhancement period, and complimentary beach chairs will continue to be offered daily for effortless enjoyment of Amelia Island's oceanfront setting.

Continuing the resort's commitment to wellness, the Spa Pool will undergo enhancements from January to February 2027. Designed to elevate comfort, relaxation, and the overall guest experience. Additional details will be shared as the project progresses.

From October 2026 through January 2027, select public restrooms will undergo enhancements as part of the resort's continued investment in guest comfort and convenience. Alternate restroom facilities will be available throughout the project. Directional signage and resort staff will help ensure a seamless experience during this brief period of enhancement.
