A young family was due to celebrate a combined Father’s Day weekend and 39th birthday at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. In the pre-arrival process, the Club Level team learned that the father succumbed to illness prior to their arrival. As it was his hope to give his two daughters and wife a long-dreamed vacation at Amelia Island, the family decided to honor his memory and his wish and stay the weekend at his favorite place. Appreciating the delicate balance of privacy and discretion, the Club Level team compiled a photo album with help from our photo concierge which was placed in the room prior to arrival and arranged for the purchase of four stars, visible together in the night sky, named after the father, wife, and daughters. With the help of the resort’s astronomer and Club Level team, the daughters were able to look into the night sky and see their stars which will always follow them wherever they travel.
