Wedding Ceremony Venue

Chapel

Discover a Monastery located inside Penha Longa Resort. The Monastery is in a separate building from the hotel meaning it has no noise restriction nor time limitation. Within it, a divine 16th Century Chapel is one of our treasures featuring a magestic religious cenary. One of the two main gardens in the monastery is the ideal location for the civil or symbolic ceremony, cocktail hour or main meal.

Casa Dos Penedos

Situated in the mysterious region of Sintra, Casa dos Penedos is a 20th Century palatial mansion designed by the renowned Portuguese architect, Raul Lino. This emblematic construction traces back to romances and mythical tales of the past.

Quinta da Abelheira

Its origins date back to 1608 when marketer Miguel Herman bought the land that Quinta da Abelheira stands on today. Your day will be memorable in this peaceful environment, surrounded by nature. Salão Nobre

Accommodates up to 120 guests (cocktail setup) and up to 60 people (seated) in a remarkable 2700 sq. ft. room located with a 14th-century old palace, adjacent to the hotel. This room is on the ground floor next to the church and has dual entrances from both the garden and the Palace.

Sala Dos Arcos

One of the most emblematic rooms at Penha Longa, it is one of the most chosen for social events. Former stable of the Monastery, it kept its clerical classical image.

Sala Árabe

Unique at the Penha Longa complex, illustrates our Mudejar tradition. With strong decoration, is today a room chosen for social events and back up to the main meeting room Coroa.

Nuncio Garden

The garden dates back to the XVI century when it was used as a place for contemplation. Nowadays it is the place to create unforgettable events.

Coroa I

Also located within the palace and meaning crown, this fully restored 700 sqm ballroom was the old sleeping quarters of the Portuguese Royal Family when visiting Penha Longa. It retains a sense of grandeur with its imposing staircase, allowing up to 650 guests to enter the ballroom in style.

Forte da Cruz – Estoril

Glamorously located in the heart of Estoril and with exceptional sea views, Forte da Cruz is a truly enchanting venue. Ideal for all types of events, this charming beachfront castle can cater to up to 250 guests indoors and up to 500 on the magnificent terrace.

Banquet
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
