Our wedding experts take the time to understand each couple’s story, guiding them toward the perfect indoor or outdoor venue—from the stunning Ritz‑Carlton Ballroom and bay‑view Vista Lounge to the villa‑inspired Piazza San Marco and the palm‑shaded Courtyard. The pastry chef transforms ideas into exquisite edible art, while the culinary team designs custom menus, including options for Indian and kosher weddings. The hotel also hosts celebrations surrounding the big day, from an elegant Afternoon Tea with the bridal party to a rehearsal dinner beneath the stars in our outdoor Coconut Grove, Miami, wedding venues.

The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom
Adorned with grand chandeliers and silk wall coverings, the 5,194‑square‑foot Grand Ballroom features its own private porte‑cochère, offering a dramatic entrance for the bride or a warm Ritz‑Carlton welcome for wedding guests. This stunning venue accommodates up to 320 guests—including space for a dance floor—creating the ideal setting for a lavish Coconut Grove wedding reception in Miami.
Piazza San Marco
The 2,750‑square‑foot Piazza San Marco features a stone and terra‑cotta terrace that evokes an elegant, villa‑style ambiance. Surrounded by palm trees and lush foliage, this outdoor Miami wedding venue accommodates up to 260 guests, creating a beautiful setting for an unforgettable celebration.
Plaza Ballroom
The newest addition, Plaza Ballroom, consists of 2,100 square feet of modern glamour featuring chic neutral color light fixtures setting the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Colors of the neighborhood peacock bird emerge from the floor. This Coconut Grove wedding venue in Miami accommodates up to 120 people for a meeting.
Can you hold my dress before the wedding?
Due to liability reasons, we are not able to hold dresses beforehand.
Can I have my dress shipped?
We can provide contacts of local vendors in the area that will receive, press and deliver your dress directly to the hotel in time for your wedding day.
Is there someone to assist us on our wedding day?
Yes, a Meetings & Special Events Manager will be with you at all times and will help put the finishing touches to your special day.
Do you provide traditional services for Indian or Jewish weddings?
Yes, we have created packages that cater to both Indian and Kosher weddings.
Do you offer a menu sampling?
We will offer all our Brides the opportunity to experience our Chef’s unique food tasting four to six weeks prior to your wedding. Menu Tastings are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Can I provide my own alcohol for the wedding reception?
The hotel must provide all food and beverage items. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Florida State Liquor Commission, and The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami is responsible for the administration of those regulations. It is the hotel’s policy that all alcoholic beverages must be provided by the hotel.
Can I create a customized menu for the wedding reception?
Additional menu selections and customized proposals are available through your Meeting & Special Events Manager. We will be glad to custom design your menu and special order any food or beverage item that is not currently available on our printed food and beverage menus.
Is there a service charge or sales tax?
The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami will apply a 25% service charge, 9% tax on food and beverage and 7% tax on ceremony fee.
Can I use my own make-up artist and hair dresser?
Yes, we can also recommend professional makeup artists and hairdressers that we frequently partner with, to take care of you and your party. Appointments need to be scheduled one month prior to your wedding day.
Do you have a pastry chef on site to make wedding cakes?
Yes, our pastry chef can work with you to create the wedding cake of your dreams.
I’m from out of town and I’m not sure which vendors to use. Can you recommend any?
Yes, The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami will be more than happy to provide you with our list of preferred vendors. Please consult with your Meeting & Special Events Manager for a recommended list of creative and qualified wedding consultants, florist, entertainers and photography/video personnel.
What does a typical wedding cost at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami?
Our Package prices begin at $230 USD per person but the cost varies from wedding to wedding based on the bride’s and groom’s preferences as well as the number of guests.
If I get married on Friday, will my wedding be less expensive than holding it on a Saturday?
Yes, minimum food and beverage requirements are more flexible on Fridays.
Do I need to provide a deposit to secure the venue?
To secure a date, a signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is 25% of the estimated value of the event. A full estimated prepayment of the event is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. A credit card will need to be on file to accommodate any overages on the day of the event.
Can I arrange to have my ceremony at the hotel?
Select weddings may arrange to have the ceremony in a private room. A complimentary rehearsal time may be coordinated with your Meetings and Special Events Manager. Ceremony fee is $3,500 USD.
Can my guests park at the hotel?
Valet parking is available at $20 USD per car.
I have out of town guests, how do I reserve guestrooms?
Should guest rooms be required for your out-of-town guests, a number of rooms may be reserved with our wedding coordinator. For 10 rooms or more, the hotel will provide a special rate.
Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m.
Does your hotel provide complimentary bridal suites?
We offer a complimentary stay to the bride and groom; upgrade to a suite is based on availability.
Do I get to arrange the seating chart for the reception?
Based on your requirements, a personalized seating diagram will be designed by your Meetings & Special Events Manager so that guest seating may be arranged in accordance with your preferences.
Final attendance with the detailed seating chart will be completed with your Meetings & Special Events Manager 72-hours prior to the wedding.
Botticelli Terrace
The 2,800‑square‑foot Botticelli Terrace is an open‑air enclave featuring a stone and terra‑cotta terrace, surrounded by palm trees and enhanced by gentle tropical breezes. This elegant outdoor setting accommodates up to 250 guests for a beautiful wedding ceremony.
Vista Lounge
With floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple balconies, natural light and panoramic views, the Vista Lounge is a beautiful oasis on the hotel’s 7th floor and the perfect locale for an intimate buffet reception for up to 35 people.
Fountain Terrace
The 2,800 square foot (260 square meters) Courtyard, with its stone and terra cotta terrace, is an open-air enclave surrounded by palm trees and graced with natural, tropical breezes. It accommodates up to 80 people for an Intimate Reception.
