How can I make a reservation?

Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?

Our spa therapists will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.

What if I have special health considerations?

Please notify our Spa Reservation Department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

What should I wear during my treatment?

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the men's and women's lounges.

Should I shave before a treatment?

Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.

What about my comfort?

This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it is the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off when having a spa treatment.

What about my jewelry and valuables?

If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guest room. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa facility.

What if I am pregnant?

While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Desk Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

What about gratuities?

Gratuity is inclusive on all spa packages. A 20% service charge will be added for each spa service you receive.

What if I am late for my appointment?

Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.

What about payment for Spa services?

We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark — a serene and stunningly beautiful retreat in the heart of Miami, built by agricultural industrialist James Deering, who wintered on the property from 1916–1925. Deering Estate

The 444-acre Deering Estate at Cutler is an environmental, archeological and historical preserve. From canoe tours to butterfly walks, the Deering Estate has diverse activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Estate offers daily tours of the historic homes-the Stone House and Richmond Cottage, as well as tours of the lush natural areas where fossil bones have been found dating as far back as 50,000 years.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

This 83-acre garden, established in 1938, is one of the world’s pre-eminent botanical gardens, with extensive collections of rare, tropical plants. Featuring narrated tram tours, self-guided tours and programs in environmental education.

The Barnacle State Historic Site

Home to Ralph Middleton Munroe, one of Coconut Grove’s most influential pioneers, the Barnacle is the oldest home in Miami-Dade County still in its original location. It is now operated as a state park with tours at scheduled times.
