M.B is the signature restaurant of the renowned Basque chef Martín Berasategui. Martín’s all-consuming passion for cooking began early in his life: he learned his trade at the age of 14 while helping out at the San Sebastian fish restaurant owned by his mother. Ten years later Martín’s own restaurant in Lasarte had earned its first Michelin star, and by 2001 he had brought that number to three - the highest accolade for any chef, and a tally he has maintained to this day. Today, Martín’s inspired interpretations of Mediterranean cuisine has made him a household name throughout Spain and the rest of the world.
