The largest collection of modern art masterpieces ever exhibited in the southeast is presented at the High Museum of Art. "Picasso to Warhol: 14 Modern Masters" features 100 works by such masters as Jasper Johns, Henri Matisse, Joan Miró, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol.

Located on 33 acres in the heart Buckhead, history buffs will find one of the Southeast’s largest history museums, research library, archives, and two historic houses illustrating over a century of Atlanta’s history. Permanent collections span the Civil War, Southern Folk Arts, the beginnings of golf with Georgia legend Bobby Jones and a glimpse into the private collections of Atlanta architect, classicist and connoisseur Philip Trammell Schutze. Historic houses on the property include the Swan House, offering a view of the grandiose life of 1930s gentry and the Tullie Smith Farm, a typical yeoman farm in Antebellum Georgia.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History showcases the Giants of the Mesozoic, the world’s largest dinosaurs and a snapshot of what life was like during the Cretaceous Period. Guests may engage in hands-on exhibitions, experience a 5-story IMAX® film and even explore the development of life on Earth through the landscapes of present-day Georgia.
