Chef de Cuisine Michael Treanor of Atlanta Grill at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta will visit Ellijay, Georgia on October 12 for the annual Georgia Apple Festival to select fall apples for a special festival menu available at Atlanta Grill October 21 to 29. Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, Ellijay, Georgia’s mountain climate and cool summer nights make the area an ideal environment for growing apples. The festival began more than 40 years ago and includes 300 artisanal vendors, an antique car show and parade.
