Can I use my own make-up artist and hair dresser?
Yes, we also offer professional make-up artists and hairdressers in our Boutique Spa to take care of you and your party. Appointments need to be scheduled with one month of anticipation.
Do you have a pastry chef on site to make wedding cakes?
No, our custom created wedding cakes are provided by locally renowned baker Ana Paz.
I’m from out of town and I’m not sure which vendors to use. Can you recommend any?
Yes, The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami will be more than happy to provide you with our list of preferred vendors. Please consult with your Meeting & Special Events Manager for a recommended list of creative and qualified wedding consultants, florist, entertainers and photography/video personnel.
What does a typical wedding cost at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami?
Our Package prices begin at $177.00 per person but the cost varies from wedding to wedding based on the brides and grooms preferences as well as the amount of guests.
If I get married on Friday, will my wedding be less expensive than holding it on a Saturday?
Yes, minimum food and beverage requirements are more flexible on Fridays.
Do I need to provide a deposit to secure the venue?
To secure a date, a signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is 25% of the estimated value of the event. A full estimated prepayment of the event is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. A credit card will need to be on file to accommodate any overages on the day of the event.
Can I arrange to have my ceremony at the hotel?
Select weddings may arrange to have the ceremony in a private room. A complimentary rehearsal time may be coordinated with your Catering Manager.
Ceremony fee $1,000.00.
Can my guests park at the hotel?
Valet parking is available at $12.00 per automobile.
I have out of town guests, how do I reserve guestrooms?
Should guestrooms be required for your out of town guests, a number of rooms may be reserved with our wedding coordinator. For 10 rooms or more, the hotel will provide a special rate.
Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 12 pm
Does your hotel provide complimentary bridal suites?
We offer a complimentary stay to the bride and groom, upgrade to a suite is based on availability.
Do I get to arrange the seating chart for the reception?
Based on your requirements, a personalized seating diagram will be designed by your Meetings & Special Events Manager so that guest seating may be arranged in accordance with your preference.
Final attendance with the detailed seating chart will be completed with your Catering Manager 72-hours prior to the wedding.
Can you hold my dress before the wedding?
Due to liability reasons, we are not able to hold dresses beforehand.
Can I have my dress shipped?
We can provide contacts of local vendors in the area that will receive, press and deliver your dress directly to the hotel in time for your wedding day.
Is there someone to assist us on our wedding day?
Yes. In addition to one of our catering managers who will be with you at all times, we offer a concierge who will help put the finishing touches during your special day.
Do you offer a menu sampling?
We will offer all our Brides the opportunity to experience our Chef’s unique food tasting four to six weeks prior to your wedding. Menu Tastings are scheduled on Monday through Thursday from 11:30am –2:30pm.
Can I provide my own alcohol for the wedding reception?
The hotel must provide all food and beverage items. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Florida State Liquor Commission, and The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami is responsible for the administration of those regulations. It is the hotel’s policy that all alcoholic beverages must be provided by the hotel.
Can I create a customized menu for the wedding reception?
Additional menu selections and customized proposals are available through your Meeting & Special Events Manager. We will be glad to custom design your menu and special order any food or beverage item that is not currently available on our printed food and beverage menus.
Is there a service charge or sales tax?
The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami will apply a 21% taxable service charge and 9% sales tax to all food and beverage items.
Can I have my photos taken at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami?
We do allow guests who are getting married at the hotel to have photos taken. There is a fee for brides and grooms who are not getting married at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami.
