As part of the worldwide Give Back Getaways program, guests of The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami are invited to visit the Good Hope Equestrian Training Center, which offers therapeutic riding to children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities.
This is a special place where even the smallest victory is joyously celebrated. You will spend an inspirational time experiencing the wonders and life-changing effects of therapeutic riding. Following an informative tour and brief training, you will shadow a side-walker, a volunteer who helps ensure the safety of the riders. Guests will also have the opportunity to assist staff with caring and grooming the program's horses and ponies. Side-walkers must be 14 years of age or older.
