The 11th International İstanbul Biennial with the title 'What Keeps Mankind Alive?' takes place in Antrepo No.3 (Karaköy), Feriköy Greek School (Şişli) and Tobacco Warehouse (Tophane), two of which are sites that were formerly reserved to fuelling the primary economy, nowadays turned into regular exhibition spaces until November 8, 2009.
Istanbul will host Fashionable Istanbul from October 23 to 25, 2009. Three-day fashion event will take place in the gardens of Dolmabahce Palace and be attended by renowned designers including Roberto Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferre, Ferragamo, Missoni and Vivienne Westwood.
