The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Maui hotel resort recently completed an extensive $180 million transformation and features the following:

Preserving the Hawaiian culture is very important to The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, which proudly maintains the Honokahua Preservation Site, recognized as a wahi pana (sacred site) that lies adjacent to the hotel and serves as a destination where Native Hawaiians can gather to conduct ceremony and protocol.

The restaurants at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Maui beach hotel incorporate Hawaiian materials and imagery and includes the following:

• The Banyan Tree, the hotel's signature restaurant, features a new destination bar and lounge with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and Moloka'i and a seasonal menu utilizing fresh, local produce and seafood. 
• The Kai Sushi restaurant is located in a new space off the lobby.  Offering expanded seating with a design of the native Hawaiians' arrival across the sea, this exceptional restaurant features the freshest sushi selections by Chef Tadashi Yoshino. 
• The Terrace restaurant offers a full breakfast buffet daily and the design reflects architectural details of Maui's plantations.  The Terrace is now enclosed in glass with views of the pool and Pacific Ocean. 
• The Alaloa Lounge has been expanded with increased outdoor space and re-designed with the Bar constructed of black lava stone and lighted amber glass.
• The Pool Bar & Café is located near The Banyan Tree with casual lunch fare and views of the ocean and pool.
• The oceanfront Beach House restaurant continues to offer a delicious lunch menu and tropical cocktails, with spectacular views of the ocean and is open seasonally in the summer for dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Kapalua draws from the concept of Waihua, which the ancient Hawaiians believed was the most pure form of water captured by the leaves of the taro plant before it touched the earth.

Resort Fee
The daily resort fee of $20 USD (plus tax) per room covers wireless high-speed internet access, local telephone calls, toll-free telephone access, discounted golf fees and preferred tee times, Resort shuttle services (Kapalua Resort and West Maui Kapalua Airport only), use of our 24-hour fitness center, Aloha Friday festivities and cultural history tours, arts and crafts, self-parking, resort charging privileges at select shops and restaurants and in-room coffee.

Cancellation Policy
Two nights' room and tax will be charged 72 hours after the reservation is confirmed.  Cancellation is permitted 21 days prior to arrival.
