For your convenience, we have compiled answers to common questions you may find helpful in choosing the types of treatment that best meet your individual needs or desires.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our spa reservation department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
What about my comfort?
This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least six hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require a 24-hour notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.
What about payment for spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.
What about gratuities?
With your permission, a 20% service charge will be added for each spa service you receive. If services were satisfactory, please feel free to leave additional gratuity, which will be distributed to the spa staff who served you during your visit.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
Can my children accompany me to the spa or fitness center?
- Guests ages 16 – 17 may use the fitness center facilities accompanied by parent/legal guardian or unaccompanied by an adult if parent/legal guardian signs spa authorization form
- Guests ages 12 – 15 may only use the fitness center when accompanied by parent or legal guardian
- Guests ages 11 and under may not use the fitness center
- Guests under 18 may not use spa facilities, including locker rooms, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools
Can children receive spa services or treatments?
- Guests ages 16 -17 may receive manicures/pedicures unaccompanied by parent/legal guardian
- Guests ages 15 and under may receive manicures/pedicures only when accompanied by parent/legal guardian
- Guests ages 14 – 17 may receive massages or facials only when parent/legal guardian is present in the treatment room for the duration of the treatment
- Guests ages 13 and under, may not receive massages or facials

How should I dress for my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever makes you comfortable. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa.
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you relax in our lounge, dry sauna, whirlpool and eucalyptus steam rooms.
