Day in the Life of a Chef

Experience an interactive six-course tapas tasting, featuring views directly into the exposition kitchen and personal interaction with the chef. The presentation will include communal seating for up to six people and tasting menus reflecting the innovative offerings of Manzanita. Additional courses are also available for purchase. Designed for intimate dinners of up to eight guests, the Chef’s Table is a culinary journey featuring mountain-inspired California cuisine. Guests will enjoy a private table adjacent to the exposition kitchen and personal interaction with the chef de cuisine, who will prepare a tasting menu reflecting the innovative offerings of Manzanita. The Backyard Scavenger Hunt

Explore the Backyard for hidden objects waiting to be found! Collect a scavenger map from the Hotel Concierge and once you have collected all of your stamps, return the map to the Hotel Concierge to receive a cool prize!

SLATE Art

SLATE Art Consulting is featuring a rotating exhibition of Northern California artists’ work including pieces that can be purchased, creating a virtual gallery throughout the hotel. Private tours of the rotating art collection can also be arranged for groups of 10 or more.

Welcome to Ritz Kids, a special summer program full of adventure.  A variety of activities are offered throughout the week derived from four pillars: Land, Water, Culture and Environmental Responsibility.  This hands-on, interactive program allows kids to connect with our mountain setting in fun and creative ways designed just for them.

For two children of the same family, the second sibling is $50.  Reservations are required and must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance by contacting the Hotel Concierge at extension 3046. Cancellation is required six hours prior or a 50% fee will be applied.   For more information, reservations and program details, please visit the concierge located in the Living Room.  Information is also available in the Ritz Kids packet provided to your child upon check-in.

$100 per child

Designed for children ages 4 to 8, the Indoor Campout package brings the fun and excitement of a camping experience to the comfort of your guest room. Package includes a 4’ X 3’ tent complete with Ritz-Carlton linens and featherbed, activity book with crayons, camp light teddy bear and a s’mores kit that can be enjoyed by the whole family at the Fire Pit. Package is based upon availability; advance reservations are strongly recommended. There is a maximum of two tent packages per room.

Short Day (two hour intervals) Available by advance reservation beginning at 1 p.m.; $75 per every two hours
