Ritz Kids Program

Daily | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Explore island treasures with interactive activities from Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Futures Society that explores life along the coast, dunes and sky for ages 5-12. A fee is associated with this program.

Pool Cabanas

Daily | 9 a.m.

Experience pool side service at its finest in your personal cabana. Your cabana will be equipped with two chaise lounge chairs, side table, mini refrigerator and a 32 inch LCD TV. As an added amenity there will also be a selection of magazines and newspapers, a personal cabana butler starting at 9 a.m., along with various dry snacks and a bowl of chilled whole fruit. To keep you refreshed on the beautiful sunny Florida days, you will also be provided chilled towels, bottled water & soft drinks along with sunscreen & tanning protection. Reservations are required.  

Kayak Tour

Daily | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Experience the unspoiled natural beauty of Amelia Island on a guided kayak tour through the tranquil salt marshes. Watch in awe as you pass by birds like Roseate Spoonbills, White Egrets and Herons. Transportation is provided. Meet in the Lobby

Story Time

Daily | 10:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Children of all ages are invited to take a break and relax while they are delighted by tales of fantasy and adventure. Meet in Lobby

Shark Tooth Hunt and Necklace– Making

Daily | 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Take a stroll across the beach in search of fossilized sharks’ teeth. After you find a tooth, make a unique sharks tooth necklace to take home. Meet at Center Beach

Salt Immersion Class

Daily | 2:30 p.m.

Join us to taste our specialty infused salt and learn about its origin. Also enjoy a sweet taste of our infused sugar! Located in The Salt Boutique.

Craft Time

Daily | 3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Let your child’s creative mind grow by bringing them to craft time where they will not only create a masterpiece, but also a memory of a lifetime. Meet in Lobby. A fee is associated with this activity

First Call

Daily | 5:45 p.m.

Experience First Call in our new Lobby Bar. Join our Mixologist as they introduce the day's small batch, house-infused spirit. The First Call infusion is available as a craft cocktail until that day's spirit is sold out.  The house-infusion changes daily, see our Mixologist for today's infused spirit.

Join us in The Lobby Lounge and raise your glass in a rowdy pirate toast to honor the sunset and begin the evening.

Historic Bike Tour

Sundays and Mondays | 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Enjoy a pleasantly-paced, guided bike ride through historic American Beach. A fee does apply. Meet at Fitness Center.

Amelia's Treasure Hunt

Fridays | 5:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

For all ages. Embark on a journey with our pirate to find the lost treasure. Complimentary.

Children ages 5-12 can get away for a night of fun and excitement just for them. The supervised evening includes games, arts and crafts and loads of fun all centered on a special theme for the night! Advance reservations are required by 2 p.m. the day prior. Cancellation fees will apply for reservations cancelled within 24-hours of the program.

Pirate Tuck-Ins

Friday and Saturday | 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Share a private bedtime story with a buccaneer bearing treats and treasure during our nightly pirate tuck-ins. Milk and cookies are delivered to your room, while a Pirate and Princess Amelia read a pirate story and surprise your child with a keepsake treasure chest full of goodies.

Tuck-Ins are scheduled every half-hour, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening. $65 per child. 24-hour advance reservations are requested.

The Amelia Island Wellness Festival

November 9-12, 2017

The 2017 Amelia Island Wellness Festival offers a weekend of holistic programming designed to inspire and renew. Hosted exclusively at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, the festival features workshops led by wellness masters including Heidi Powell, Laura Sykora, MC Yogi, MNDFL Meditation and DanceBody fitness.

S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship Arrives

Wednesday, November 22

The Gingerbread Pirate Ship returns to the Lobby with pirate characters sculpted from chocolate. A holiday icon, the Gingerbread Pirate Ship provides the perfect backdrop for your holiday picture.  

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 22 | 5:30 p.m.

Thousands of sparkling lights beautifully decorate the resort for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Enjoy refreshments and entertainment from The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival Brass Quintet. Festivities conclude with Santa’s arrival and fireworks.

Santa’s Magical Dinner

Wednesday, November 22 | 6:30 p.m.

Join Santa along with his elves after the Tree Lighting for a new Wonderland experience, including appearances from a few special guests. Santa’s Wonderland menu includes citrus shrimp, honey glazed ham, flank steak, chicken and a children’s buffet. Also included is a picture with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Reservations requested.

Price: $59 per adult and $29 for children age 5-12, including service charge

Thanksgiving Grand Feast

Thursday, November 23 | 12 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with an elaborate culinary presentation of traditional Thanksgiving favorites accompanied by live jazz music. The scrumptious buffet includes citrus poached shrimp, shrimp and grits, roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, beef medallions and an endless array of desserts. Children will enjoy cookie decorating and holiday inspired crafts and  games. Reservations requested.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, November 25, December 2, 9 and 16 | 8:30 a.m.

Join us for a holiday tradition, Breakfast with Santa. Children will delight in whispering their holiday wishes to Santa and parents will cherish a keepsake picture.  Feast
on breakfast favorites including a pancake station with fun toppings, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast breads, ham and cheese croissants, an array of delectable breakfast pastries and a holiday cookie station.  Reservations requested.

Santa’s Storybook Tea

New Year’s Eve Black & White Gala

Saturday, December 31 | 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Welcome the New Year with style as The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island celebrates the Sixth Annual with luxurious food buffets including a seafood ice bar, sushi station, living salad station, antipasti and appetizers.  This is North Florida’s most elegant and entertaining New Year’s Eve Party. You will enjoy cooking stations serving seared scallops, lobster, lamb loin, braised short ribs and a scrumptious display of desserts. Dance all night with live music from Papa Sol and enjoy an open bar and fireworks with a champagne toast. Black & White attire is encouraged. Masks are provided or you can bring your own. Reservations required.

Price: $225 per adult, if tickets are purchased before November 30. After November 30, ticket price will be $250. Price includes service charge.
