Pool Cabanas

Daily | 9 a.m.

Experience pool side service at its finest in your personal cabana. Your cabana will be equipped with two chaise lounge chairs, side table, mini refrigerator and a 32 inch LCD TV. As an added amenity there will also be a selection of magazines and newspapers, a personal cabana butler starting at 9 a.m., along with various dry snacks and a bowl of chilled whole fruit. To keep you refreshed on the beautiful sunny Florida days, you will also be provided chilled towels, bottled water & soft drinks along with sunscreen & tanning protection. Reservations are required.  

Pirate Toast

Daily | 5:30 p.m.

Join us in The Lobby Lounge and raise your glass in a rowdy pirate toast to honor the sunset.

Ritz Kids Program

Thursday-Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Explore island treasures with interactive activities from Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Futures Society that explores life along the coast, dunes and sky for ages 5-12. A fee is associated with this program.

Historic Bike Tour

Sundays and Mondays | 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Enjoy a pleasantly-paced, guided bike ride through historic American Beach. A fee does apply. Meet at Fitness Center.

Amelia's Treasure Hunt

Fridays | 5:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

For all ages. Embark on a journey with our pirate to find the lost treasure. Complimentary.

Ritz Kids Night Out

Fridays and Saturdays | 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Children ages 5-12 can get away for a night of fun and excitement just for them. The supervised evening includes games, arts and crafts and loads of fun all centered on a special theme for the night! $85 includes dinner and refreshments. Program hours may be extended to 11 p.m. for an additional $25 per hour, per child with advance notice.

Advance reservations are required by 2 p.m. the day prior. Cancellation fees will apply for reservations cancelled within 24-hours of the program.

Friday and Saturday | 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Share a private bedtime story with a buccaneer bearing treats and treasure during our nightly pirate tuck-ins. Milk and cookies are delivered to your room, while a Pirate, Princess Amelia and our “mascot,” Amelia’s Treasure (a seven-year-old blue and gold macaw), read a pirate story and surprise your child with a keepsake treasure chest full of goodies.

Tuck Ins are scheduled every half-hour, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening. $65 per child. 24-hour advance reservations are requested.

The S. S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship Arrives

November 23, 2016

Our Gingerbread Ship returns to the Lobby with pirate characters sculpted from chocolate. A holiday icon, the Gingerbread Pirate Ship provides the perfect backdrop for your holiday picture.  

20th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 23, 2016 | 5:30 p.m.

Thousands of sparkling lights beautifully decorate the resort for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Enjoy refreshments, entertainment by local community groups and The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival Brass Quintet. Raffle tickets will be available to support the local YMCA Foundation. Festivities conclude with Santa’s arrival and fireworks.

Santa’s Wonderland Dinner

November 23, 2016 | 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Join Santa along with his elves for a new wonderland experience including the appearances by an Ice Princess and Jack Frost.  After dinner capture a family photo with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Reservations requested.

Thanksgiving Grand Feast

Salt Thanksgiving Experience

Santa Breakfast

New Year’s Eve Black and White Gala

Kids’ New Year’s Eve Celebration
