Who can guide me in choosing my treatments? Our Spa Reservation Department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.
When should I arrive? For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas, steam rooms and serenity pool.
What should I wear during my treatment? Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the gentlemen and ladies' lounges.
What about my jewelry and valuables? If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guest room. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in The Spa.
Should I wax, shave, laser or use the sauna or steam room before a body scrub or peel? To achieve the utmost satisfaction and comfort from your service, we ask that you wait at least eight hours before and after the Spa service to shave or use the sauna or steam room. In addition, we recommend that you limit your sun exposure before and after a facial or body peel treatment.
How can I make a reservation? Reservations can be made by calling (520) 572-3030 or by requesting a service online. We encourage you to reserve treatments at least one week in advance.
What about my comfort? This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.
Is there a minimum age for treatments? Spa facilities and the spa pool are accessible exclusively to our guests 18 years of age or older. Guests under 18 years of age are not eligible for body treatments or massages. Guests 5-15 years are eligible for manicures, pedicures, haircuts and hairstyling only. Guests 16-17 years of age may also have facials, with a parent or legal guardian present.
The Fitness Center is accessible exclusively to our guests 14 years of age or older. Guests 16 years and under must be supervised by a parents or guardian at all times.
What if I am late for my appointment? Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
What is the cancellation policy? If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least six hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require 24 hours notice, unless other is stipulated in signed contract.
What about gratuities? A 20% gratuity will be added to the price of your service(s) for your convenience. Additional gratuities are a matter of personal discretion, and should reflect your satisfaction with our services.
What about payment for Spa services? We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.
Are gift cards available for The Spa? Absolutely. You may purchase Ritz-Carlton gift cards in any dollar amount at The Spa, hotel front desk or online.
What is the entrance fee? The full use of all spa facilities is included with the purchase of a spa treatment for that day. Hotel guests can also experience the Serenity Pool, locker areas, sauna and steam without have a spa treatment for a $50 entrance fee.
What if I have special health considerations? Please notify our Spa reservation department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant? While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa reservation agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
