Meetings and Events

Two venues can be flexibly configured in size and layout to accommodate all manner of gatherings.

Conveniently located a 15-minute drive from the airport and a five-minute walk from Tenjin Station.
Oversized windows, courtyard views, and beautiful natural light grace the 150-square-meter foyer.
The Ballroom décor is inspired by the local textile art of Hakata-ori for your Fukuoka event.
Meeting Venues

The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom

The 336-square-meter Ritz-Carlton Ballroom is equipped with a six-square-meter LED screen for bright and vibrant projected displays. Three additional 200-inch pull-down screens can be used in tandem to heighten the visual impact of business presentations, panel discussions, and more. The venue can be divided into three for flexible size and layout configurations. The Ballroom accommodates standing receptions of up to 300 guests, and its spacious 143-square-meter foyer can be used for cocktail receptions, coffee breaks, or welcome counters as necessary.

Meeting Venues

The Studio

At 108 square meters in size, the sun-filled Studio can be divided into two venues, each with oversized windows overlooking the park-like greensward of Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City. The venue is equipped with a 120-inch screen and an 86-inch monitor and can host standing receptions of up to 70 people. The generous 123-square-meter foyer can be used to welcome your guests with champagne and cocktails, or for coffee and tea breaks.

With its soaring ceiling height of 7.7 meters, the Ballroom foyer provides a dramatic entrance to the Ballroom and can be used for a variety of purposes, including cocktail receptions and coffee and tea breaks.

Exquisite Catering

Our location in the main tower of the Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City complex enables the Ritz-Carlton team of chefs to collaborate easily with other venues on-site, providing fine-catered meals in the tech hub of Tenjin Daimyo. Fresh local ingredients feature in all of our offerings, from the simplest boxed meal to multi-course feasts, and it is our pleasure to work closely with brand managers for customized menus.

Seamless Event Planning

Because our banquet floor is contiguous with the MICE facilities of the Daimyo Conference site next door, event planners can take full advantage of collaborations that maximize our combined offerings. Rest assured that communications will be seamless.

Outdoor Events

Central to the Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City complex is a 3,000-square-meter park, an integral part of the lively Tenjin Daimyo community. More than half of its total area, including an outdoor stage and LED vision system, can be booked for concerts and other promotional events. Our planners are delighted to offer collaborative services that make this exciting community space available to our business guests.

Remote, Hybrid and Interactive Meetings

State-of-the-art digital technologies, a six-by-six-meter LED screen, and three additional pull-down screens in the Ballroom ensure that all attendees of your event, whether in-person or remote, can enjoy the projections and engage fully in the proceedings.

Distinctive Private Rooms

Our four restaurants and two bars can be reserved for private parties such as receptions and corporate events. For further information about these venues, please call our reservations desk.

Vibrant Fukuoka Food Culture

Superb Cuisine, Gorgeously Presented

Our chefs have a choice pick of the many gourmet ingredients readily available to them in Fukuoka. Daily catch from the abundant fishing grounds of the Genkai Sea and neighboring waters fills the nearby Nagahama Fish Market each morning. All the lush fruits found in Kyushu’s temperate climate, as well as green tea grown in Yame, a leading production center just an hour’s drive south of the hotel, feature in our creative menus, too. Your event guests can enjoy these tastes of Kyushu in beautifully arranged buffets, traditional sit-down feasts, or presented in multi-tiered vessels made of colorful Arita Ware.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
