GREENSBORO, GA November 8, 2018 – The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee announces the appointment of pups-in-residence, Finn and Skye. The duo, affectionately referred to as Dooley’s Crew, will honor the legacy of the resort’s first four-legged ambassador. Before retiring, Dooley served as an icon for six years by greeting guests with playful licks and the wag of his tail while promoting health and literacy amongst the youngest guests.

Acting as the official welcome party of the resort, the new members of Dooley’s Crew can be found in the lobby for petting and play between 10-10:30 a.m. and 2-2:30 p.m. daily and will be available for appearances during select resort activities.

Finn, an unabashed toy enthusiast and sock aficionado, is a yellow Labrador Retriever born on September 10, 2018. In his role he brings endless playfulness, unshakeable curiosity, and the tenacity to lead with confidence. Finn was born the largest of his litter and has paws the size of a pup twice his age. When he's not playing with anything and everything that fits in his mouth, you’ll probably find him catching up on his beauty sleep.

Skye is a silver Labrador Retriever born on July 27, 2018. Most will mistake her rare charcoal-colored coat for a Weimaraner, but her look, temperament and pedigree are entirely that of a Labrador. Skye brings a wealth of affection, loyalty and spirit to the resort. She is skilled in a variety of disciplines such as removing the treat from a Kong toy and beating the boys at tug-of-war, and she mastered the art of sitting on command at an early age.

The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee welcomes furry guests for a one-time pet fee, a portion of which is donated to the local Oconee Humane Society. When a pup stays at the resort, they will receive a VIP (very important pet) welcome gift from Finn and Skye and can enjoy numerous activities including hiking, bird watching or a swim in the lake.
