The resort offers a different meeting destination, close to Silicon Valley yet secluded along the coastline atop a scenic bluff. Its more than 35,000 sq. ft. of event space includes a large ballroom, meeting rooms, and outdoor lawns overlooking the ocean. Venues are paired with the resort’s events expertise including planning, catering, and audiovisual, creating the ideal destination for board meetings, product launches, corporate galas, executive retreats, and team-building excursions.

The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom

The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom is the ultimate choice for those seeking an atmosphere of grand elegance. This 7,100-square-foot ballroom is the largest on the Northern California coast and seats up to 300 guests for dinner with dancing. The opulant room is adorned with 17-feet high vaulted ceilings and includes chandelier lighting and luxurious carpeting.

Miramar Ballroom offers sweeping ocean views and hosts up to 160 people, the space is appointed with gilded chandeliers inspired by California’s golden sunsets (2,082 square feet).

The Observatory
Observatory

With windows on nearly all sides of its octagon floorplan, The Observatory is ideal for social and corporate events alike, offering stunning coastal views (900 square feet).

Miramontes Event Space
Miramontes

Miramontes has two double doors leading out to the scenic Miramontes Terrace. The octagon-shaped enclave and large meeting space make for a dynamic floor plan (1,110 square feet).

Pacifica Event Space in Half Moon Bay
Pacifica

Privately located at the end of the East Wing, Pacifica offers an intimate room with dedicated outdoor space optimal for breakout sessions and small gatherings (1,100 square feet).

Pillar Point

A corner space situated at the end of the North Wing, Pillar Point boasts views of the Pacific and is the ideal space for an intimate meeting (548 square feet).

Pescadero Event Venue
Pescadero

Conveniently located adjected to the resort lobby, the Pescadero space holds up to 180 guests and offers modern classic tones with recessed ceiling lighting (1,691 square feet).

Salon I, II, III or IV
Description: 1,775 square feet
The Salon spaces are equally split rooms from The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom. Each offers a maximum of 180 seats theater-style in an elevated yet refined format.

Pillar Point
Description: 548 square feet
A corner space situated at the end of the North Wing, Pillar Point boasts views of the Pacific and is the ideal space for an intimate meeting.

El Granada
Description: 702 square feet
The interior El Granada space seats up to 40 guests in a banquet, reception, and theater setting. The large ceiling fixture creates a feel of dramatic elegance.

Cabrillo Room
Description: 760 square feet
The Cabrillo Room is a quaint space, lavishly appointed with decorative wall sconces with ornamentation reminiscent of earth elements like quartz and marble.

Miramar I
Description: 897 square feet
The largest of the Miramar breakout rooms, Miramar I offers views of the Pacific with tones reminiscent of earth elements and hosts up to 80 guests in theater-style. 

Miramar II
Description: 640 square feet
Offering coastal views, Miramar II sits in the center of the three breakout rooms. The space is complete with a Juliet balcony and fits 50 guests in theater-style.

Miramar III
Description: 546 square feet
The intimate Miramar III offers one striking bay window with capabilities to host up to 40 guests in a reception-style with room for all other formats.

Pacifica
Description: 1,100 square feet
Privately located at the end of the East Wing, Pacifica offers an intimate room with dedicated outdoor space optimal for breakout sessions and small gatherings.

Montara
Description: 1,134 square feet
Conveniently located adjected to the resort lobby, the Montara space holds up to 100 guests and offers modern classic tones with recessed ceiling lighting.

The Ballroom Terrace offers a multi-functional space with fireplaces and ample lounge areas. Clear from the public’s view, guests will feel at home in this space.

Mar Vista Lawn
A secluded setting with views of the resort and its cliffs, Mar Vista Lawn is the largest outdoor space and is well suited for receptions of up to 600 people (8,000 square feet).

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
