About the volunteer group Minna Sora No Shita, which supports Fukushima

This volunteer organization was established by a group of women in Muko city, Kyoto prefecture in 2012. Through the donation of sandboxes for indoor play in kindergartens in Fukushima Prefecture, holding a “Fukushima Children Support Charity Concert” in Kyoto, sales of original goods, etc., they continue to support children and parents in Fukushima Prefecture who have not yet been able to return to their original lives due to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. Their new program, “Short-term kindergarten recreational exchange study program” supports children and parents of Fukushima, so that they can go to kindergarten in Kyoto for a short time. It was conducted for the first time in the fall 2017. Here is a newspaper article about Minna Sora No Shita (in Japanese) http://minasora.org/archives/category/media/press
