On 28 – 31 January 2019, as part of the ‘Days of India in Almaty’ celebrations, The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty will host the ‘Taste of India: Indian Food Festival’. The festival is being organized by the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan, with the support of the Indian Tourism Development Corporation, and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
This unique culinary festival aims to acquaint visitors with the rich culinary heritage of different regions of India, each of which has its own distinctive taste and cooking style. Today Indian cuisine is one of the most diverse in the world with an incredibly comprehensive and broad range of flavours.

“We are very pleased to host this festival given the amazing diversity of Indian cuisine. Under the guidance of Indian chefs, we will give our guests an unforgettable gastronomic experience. I believe that Kazakhstanis will learn more about the gastronomy of India and discover new flavors that are inherent only to Indian cuisine,” said Ismail Alcay, chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty.
