Manos Santas
Healing Hands

In the not-so-distant past, communities on the island had healers known as “Manos Santas” or “Healing Hands”.  This tradition is the foundation of Spa Botanico which combines nature’s wild plants and herbs with the nurturing hands of our talented healers.

Spa Details

Pure nature is woven throughout the spa --- treatments are performed amidst the treetops and in pavilions hidden off meandering paths, an infinity reflection pool overlooks a pineapple garden, tropical outdoor gardens for soaking and indigenous ingredients are used in hand-crafted body scrubs and massage. A wellness experience heightened and harmonized by nature.

Locally Inspired Treatments

Integration with the natural world is an essential component of Spa Botanico. The abundance of botanicals combined with the healing traditions of the island, inspired our treatment offerings, designed to enhance the well-being of all who visit.

Golf in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico

The resort’s two courses present players with both the joy and challenge of the sport. Designed to capture the beauty of nature, the Tournament Players Club courses offer 18 holes each and use native sand, manmade rivers and contoured bunkers to test even the most seasoned golfer.

East Course

Robert Trent Jones, Jr. modernized his father’s original seaside course, but its history remains. Tree trunks bear the marks of golf balls that went astray, and each hole is named for the trees that surround it. In his restoration, Jones Jr. brought back the ocean views and used native sand to contour the bunkers. The 18-hole course plays more than 7,200 yards.

Sugarcane Course

The more challenging of the resort’s two golf courses, the Sugarcane Course features larger fairways and greens and demands even the most skilled players to negotiate forced carries and deep bunkers. Rivers and lakes on the back nine offer a fresh perspective.

Water is a healer, a powerful force of nature, a necessity for life. At the resort, where the ocean sits just at its edge, it is a source of both thrilling adventure and quiet reflection. Experiences extend beyond the sea to include a family-friendly waterpark and two swimming pools.
